A judge ruled on Tuesday that a pit bull dog who mauled a local pet store owner will not be put down. Judge Dave DeWeese held a court hearing Tuesday and ruled that the pit bull who attacked 63 year old Patsy Nelson of Erma will not be euthanized, but will have to be contained. DeWeese accepted a plea of guilty from dog owner Donald Titus, who’s pit bull attacked Nelson last month. The judge ordered that the dog have no interaction with the public and ordered Titus to have strict control over the animal.
