JIMMIE LEEDS ROAD ACCESS TO PARKWAY TO BE TERMINATED

Beginning Friday, the exits for Garden State Parkway traffic onto Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway will no longer be accessible from the rest area. Motorists should instead follow the signs to the new Garden State Parkway interchange 41 ramps onto Jimmie Leeds Road. Motorists who mistakenly enter the rest area and miss the new exits will not be able to make a legal U-turn northbound until reaching Exit 50 in New Gretna and re-entering the southbound Parkway. Southbound traffic will have to U-turn at Exits 40 or 38. Motorists entering the Parkway in either direction from Jimmie Leeds Road will no longer have access to the rest area. Those wishing to access the rest area should do so from Rt. 30 via the northbound Parkway.
