INVESTIGATION BEGINS INVOLVING RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES

An investigation is on-going into a forced entry, day time, residential burglary spree that occurred over the weekend in the Erma Section of Lower Township. Police there say an unknown person entered residential properties through rear windows and sliding glass doors and stole various electronic equipment, such as flat screen TV’s, Lap Tops and Jewelry.

The Lower Township Police Department is requesting citizens with any information to contact the Lower Township Police Department at 609‐886‐1619 extension 157 or the Cape May County Crimestoppers at 609‐465‐2800. Any and all information will remain confidential and may be reported anonymously.

Citizens are reminded to secure their homes and be diligent in reporting suspicious activity to the authorities in an expeditious manner.
