INCUMBENT BAILS OUT OF UPPER TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE RACE

Upper Township Committeeman Tony Inserra will not seek re-election this year.  Inserra failed to submit a petition for the June primary election.  Two republicans will battle each other for a seat in the June 3rd primary.  They are Jeffrey Pierson or Marmora and Orvis Leopardi of Beesley’s Point.  Pierson served as a brigadier general in the United States Army; Leopardi served as mayor of Absecon before moving to Upper Township.
