HUGE NEW JERSEY DUNE PROJECT GOING OUT TO BID

A huge protective dune project that will help one of New Jersey’s regions hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy is finally going out to bid.  New Jersey DEP Commissioner Bob Martin announced today that the project for northern Ocean County has been put out to bid by the United States Army Corps of Engineers.  The new dunes will help protect 14 miles of coastline in central New Jersey.
