HORSEBACK RIDING OFFICIALLY COMES TO WILDWOOD

WildwoodThe Wildwood beach was the site of horseback riding on Friday. Commissioner Pete Byron told Coastal Broadcasting that horseback riders got a chance to ride on the beach for the first time in Wildwood since a new ordinance was passed in the city. Horseback riding is only allowed in Wildwood during the winter and will not impact the summer tourism season. Byron said the city doesn’t expect to make huge revenue off horseback riding, but believes it will bring different people to the city that might not always visit for the chance to ride a horse on the beach.
