HORSE RACING COULD SHUTTER IN STATE IN 2012

gov_christieA popular racetrack in New Jersey could be shut down next year. Monmouth Park is facing the potential shut down regarding the park’s lease. Negotiations are on-going with the New Jersey Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association and the state. The state said they wouldn’t transfer the license and Gov. Chris Christie said there will be one more week given for talks or else horse racing faces a shut down in New Jersey.
