HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON PUSHED BACK ONE WEEK

The NJSIAA announced Wednesday that high school football games will be delayed by one week due to Hurricane Sandy. The state will allow teams to play this weekend if they want to, but so far only two games are on the schedule for this weekend. State tournament games for soccer, field hockey and girls volleyball will begin on Monday. Sectional cross-country meets and gymnastics tournaments are postponed until next weekend.
