HERMINE WEAKENING, RIP CURRENTS CONTINUE

The National Weather Service has downgraded it’s warnings for Hermine to a Coastal Flood Advisory for the New Jersey coastline until 5 a.m. Tuesday. The effects of the storm continue to be beach erosion, rough surf, strong rip currents, and minor coastal flooding at times of high tide. Hermine’s track has pushed slightly to the west but the storm is expected to weaken as it meanders over the Atlantic Ocean for the next several days. High surf and dangerous rip currents will continue through Tuesday.
