HEALTH CARE COSTS PREDICTED TO RISE IN NEW JERSEY

Monthly health insurance premiums for New Jersey residents are expected to rise in 2017 according to a report by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. If you are covered under the Affordable Care Act, you can expect your monthly premiums to increase by an average of 25 percent starting in January. Experts say the rise in premiums is caused by financial losses among insurers who paid out more claims than they could cover with premium payments.
