HARD ROCK FILES WITH STATE TO MOVE CASINO INTO ATLANTIC CITY

A rumored player for a new casino license in Atlantic City took a step forward on Tuesday. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Hard Rock filed with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection regarding one of the two licenses available to run a boutique casino. These casinos are much smaller than the regular sized casinos in Atlantic City. The idea was created to open the door to new companies to make investments. According to the report, the casino would max out at 850 rooms.
