A big financial award was announced for the Hammonton Airport. Congressman Frank LoBiondo announced $220,000 coming to the airport in federal funding. The funding will go towards the removal of obstructions on the runway identified in a recent study. The federal funding is awarded from the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program. Eligible projects include those improvements related to enhancing airport safety, capacity, security, and environmental concerns.
