GWTIDA: BETTER DAYS AHEAD IN TOURISM

Officials from the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority held a meeting today and talked about a much better tourism season for 2010.  GWTIDA officials talked about the Summer of 2009 which was challenged by a poor economy and very wet, rainy weather in June.  Officials believe that the tourism economy in the Wildwoods will rebound this year due to more favorable weather and better economic conditions.  Officials say they will continue to pitch the Wildwoods as a major value for the tourism dollar to the numerous free events that are offered throughout the tourism season.
