GREATER EGG HARBOR TEACHERS PROTEST LACK OF CONTRACT

It was back-to-school on Tuesday for students in the Great Egg Harbor Regional School District and teachers began the day with a protest. Teachers and staff in the district have been working without a contract for over a year and union members protested before the day began, carrying signs and placing stickers on classroom windows. The teachers union voted unanimously on Monday night to authorize their leaders to take all actions necessary to reach a settlement with the district.
