GRANT FUNDING HANDED OUT FOR HOMELESS SHELTERS

Some big bucks will help out a local homeless shelter. Gov. Chris Christie’s office announced before the holiday weekend that $160,000 will be going to the Vineland shelter. The overall goal of the money is going to help with rehabbing efforts and to create additional bed space at shelters in the state. Grants totaling $3.83 million in state and federal dollars are being distributed throughout the state.
