GOVERNOR WILL SIGN BILL FRIDAY BANNING SMOKING ON PUBLIC BEACHES

Governor Murphy will sign a bill Friday that will ban smoking from all public beaches and parks in New Jersey.  Local beach towns will be allowed to reserve up to 15 percent of their beaches, but few are expected to do so.  The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection must provide some sort of assistance to local towns to enact the program.

  1. Governor Murphy, how about focusing on Booze being sold on every other corner in our Beach Communities. Booze killing teens and adults everyday. Too much revenue I guess.
