GOVERNOR VETOES PLASTIC BAG BILL, ORDERS LAWMAKERS TO TRY AGAIN

Governor Phil Murphy has vetoed a bill that would have resulted in a tax on single use plastic bags in New Jersey.  Murphy vetoed the bill on Monday and directed lawmakers to come up with better legislation.  Murphy was criticized for supporting the bill as a money grab rather than a way to improve the environment.
