GOSHEN WOMAN FACES ANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGES

Dawn ScheidA 46 year old woman from Goshen faces numerous counts of animal cruelty after officials found about five dozen dogs on her property; six dogs were found dead, buried near her house.  Authorities filed charges against Dawn Scheid who now faces numerous animal cruelty charges according to the New Jersey State SPCA Humane Police.  Scheid was being held on $50,000 cash bail following her arrest.  Her home is located off Goshen Road in Middle Township, and authorities found nearly three dozen dogs located in in one room of the house.  Police call the conditions that the dogs were living in “deplorable”.
