GOP LAWMAKERS IN NEW JERSEY EMBARRASSED BY MOTOR VEHICLE COMMISSION FOUL UP

The failure of the Motor Vehicle Commission to process a huge volume of requests this week has drawn the ire of republican lawmakers in Trenton.  The minority party is urging Governor Murphy to not only extend the deadlines on various motor vehicle documents, but also to put State Police in charge of handling the long lines that have formed at some offices.  The GOP also wants the offices to be open 12 hours a day.
