GONE: PENCE FOLLOWS VICTORINO TO THE WEST COAST

The Phillies traded two thirds of their starting outfield to the west coast today.  Following a trade of Shane Victorino to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Phillies traded right fielder Hunter Pence to the San Francisco Giants for three players, including the Giants’ number two prospect, catcher Tommy Joseph.  The Phillies are conducting a fire sale of their team and shedding some star players and high salaries in the process.
