GOING UP: TOLLS ON DELAWARE MEMORIAL BRIDGE

Tolls are going up on the Delaware Memorial Bridge as of July 1st.  The Delaware River and Bay Authority met Tuesday morning and approved a new fare structure on the bridge.  Bridge tolls will increase by one dollar to four dollars per crossing for standard motor vehicles.  Fares will also increase for commercial vehicles as well.  The toll increase is expected to generate an additional $22 million for the authority, which also operates the Cape May Lewes Ferry.
