GOING UP: MURPHY SIGNS LAW TO BUMP UP WELFARE CHECKS BY TEN PERCENT

Welfare assistance checks are going up by ten percent in New Jersey.  Governor Murphy on Monday signed a new bill into law that raises the $424 monthly check for a family of three to $466.  This is the first increase in the check since Ronald Reagan was President.
