GAS PRICES INCREASE 29 STRAIGHT DAYS

Gas prices at the pump have climbed every day for the past 29 days, climbing 7 cents last week to a national average of $3.64 per gallon on Friday. Since February 1st prices have increased 18 cents. The national average price remains 12 cents above year ago prices, making prices the most expensive ever for this time of year. AAA Mid-Atlantic puts New Jersey’s average price at $3.57 per gallon, while Cape May County’s average is two cents lower at $3.55 per gallon.
