FUGITIVE OF JUSTICE ARRESTED IN LOWER TOWNSHIP

A man wanted in Maryland for drug possession was arrested in Lower Township. Police stopped Gary Lee DuPont, 46 years old, of the Villas during a routine traffic stop on Monday. He was wanted on charges of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Narcotics, specifically Crack/Cocaine.  Distribution of the same Narcotic in a School Zone, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. DuPont is currently being held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility on $100,000 full cash bail.
