FREE SKIN CANCER SCREENINGS GIVEN OVER THE WEEKEND

Cape May County logoThe Cape May County Health Department provided free skin cancer screenings to 66 patrons at the Beach Patrol Headquarters on Beach Ave. and Grant St. in Cape May on Saturday. There was a “Choose Your Cover” event on the beach with skin cancer screening, awareness and educational initiative. Skin cancer remains one of the most common forms of cancer in the United States with more than 3.5 million cases diagnosed each year, according to the American Cancer Society.
