FOURTH CASE OF RABIES FOUND IN EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP

Residents of Egg Harbor Township should note the fourth case of rabies was discovered in their community. Atlantic County officials say local residents should make sure their pets are vaccinated to protect them and help avoid human contact. The raccoon was discovered by two dogs in the backyard of a property in the 100 black of Perry Lane in Egg Harbor Township on April 11. An investigation by the Division of Public Health has determined that there were no human exposures and that both dogs are current on their vaccinations.
