FOUR INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENT

Hamilton Township Police logoHamilton Township Police are looking into a vehicle accident that injured four in its community. It took place on Tuesday at the intersection of the Black Horse Pike and Harding Highway.

A preliminary investigation revealed a red Toyota Prius operated by Robert Flax, age 71, of Mays Landing was traveling southwest on Harding Highway and failed to stop at the traffic light. Flax crossed over both the westbound and eastbound lanes of the Black Horse Pike before striking a red Ford Explorer operated by Sylvia Gonzalez, age 42, of Pleasantville which was traveling east on the Black Horse Pike.

Cecilia Gonzalez and Adrian Torres were the two passengers injured in the accident. Summonses are pending against Flax upon completion of the investigation.
