FORMER NORTH WILDWOOD COUNCILMAN HANK RICE, 77

Funeral services will be held Friday morning in Wildwood for former North Wildwood city councilman Hank Rice. Rice passed away Sunday at Shore Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. Rice served as a Philadelphia deputy city commissioner of elections for 17 years before moving to North Wildwood. Rice served the North Wildwood City Council for six years, from 2001 through 2007. Rice is survived by his wife Dorothy, three sons, and one daughter. Services will be held at Notre Dame De la Mer Parish at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Wildwood. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wildwood Catholic High School Scholarship Fund.
