A former Margate firefighter and lifeguard won’t be getting his public jobs back after he filed an appeal following his theft of nearly eight dollars worth of goods from a Wawa in 2015. An appeals court has ruled that Ashton Funk’s firing from both jobs is sustained. He lost $78,000 worth of public jobs for the theft.
