FORMER LOWER TWP MAYOR LOOKING TO RETURN TO COUNCIL

Wednesday night’s reorganization meeting in Lower Township could see former Mayor Walter Craig returning to council in the Second Ward. According to the Press of Atlantic City, The Lower Township Regular Republican Organization met in closed session and voted on who should replace Erik Simonsen, who stepped down in December after moving to the Third Ward. Craig was mayor of Lower Township from 2005-2008 and reportedly says he would like to return to the council. The reorganization meeting takes place Wednesday night at 7PM.
