FORMER EHT FOOTBALL STAR REJECTS PLEA OFFER ON ROBBERY

A former three-star athlete at Egg Harbor Township High School, now attending Rutgers University, has rejected a plea agreement on a robbery charges. Tejay Johnson, 24, was one of ten suspects arrested for three home invasions in New Brunswick and faces multiple charges of robbery and burglary. The plea bargain would have put Johnson in jail for 15 years. A conviction at his upcoming trial could result in a possible 70-year prison sentence.
