FORMER COP GETS PRISON TIME FOR HURRICANE SANDY FRAUD SCHEME

A former New Jersey cop is getting five years in prison for committing fraud related to Hurricane Sandy relief.  Nikola Lulaj of Seaside Heights was sentenced to the long prison term on Monday for stealing $187,000 in “Sandy” relief funds.  Lulaj forfeited his job with the Hoboken Police Department as a result of the crime.
