A former baseball coach at St. Rose High School in New Jersey was handed an 18 year prison term today. Bartholomew McInerney was convicted on charges that he had some of his players send him text messages about their sexual habits, and some players were even paid for the texts. McInerney was in court today and cried when he apologized to the victims, and to the victims’ families. He was convicted back in January on 10 counts of child endangerment.
