FORMER ATTORNEY GENERAL NAMED TO HEAD PORT AUTHORITY

Gov. Chris Christie has named a Democrat and former attorney general as the new head of the Port Authority. This all comes from the fall out of the Bridgegate scandal that saw a number of members of the Port Authority left the bi-state agency. John Degnan was the attorney general under Gov. Brendan Byrne. Degnan is expected to bring some stability to the position following the scandal.
