Friday was a very unusual night for high school football. Lower Cape May’s game against Riverside was suspended indefinitely in the second quarter due to repeated lightning; no word on if or when that game will be resumed; Lower was leading, 14-8 at the time the game was called. In other action, Ocean City knocked off Egg Harbor Township, 25-6, and Middle Township shut out Seaford, Del. 41-0 to improve to 2-0 on the season.
