FLAGS LOWERED TO HALF-STAFF TODAY IN HONOR OF FRANKS

Flags are being flown at half-staff today. Gov. Chris Christie issued an Executive Order to fly the United States and New Jersey flags at half-staff today in honor of New Jersey Congressman Bob Franks. Franks had an aggressive form of cancer and passed away last week. He represented the 7th District in Washington for the state of New Jersey. “As both a state Assemblyman and U.S. Congressman, Bob provided tireless leadership for New Jersey,” Christie said. “Beyond that, he was a great friend, a true gentlemen and just a genuinely nice man.”
