FIVE CENT OVERNIGHT JUMP IN GAS PRICES

State gas prices increase five cents in one day. AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge data shows that state at a $3.136 average in New Jersey. Prices have risen nearly 10 cents in the past week in the state. Oil prices are hanging around $100 per barrel, due to the unrest in areas like Libya. Expect a sharp increase in the pump price as the unrest continues.

  1. I live in Central PA. On 2-20-2011 a gallon of regular was $3.09 Three days later the lowest was $3.35 and as high as $3.49 Our prices usually jump 10 to 12 cents over night. PA also has a very high gas tax.
    $3.13 is still to much when we has gas and oil in our own backyard.
