FIRE BEING WORKED ON IN SEA ISLE CITY, THREE HOMES DAMAGED

Three homes in Sea Isle City were destroyed as a result of a fire. The blaze broke out a little after 4 p.m. at 78th and Pleasure Ave. A couple of neighboring homes were damaged by the smoke. Officials say that no one was injured in the smoke and flames. It took about two hours to get the fire under control. Investigators say they are still looking into the cause of the blaze. Many firefighters from nearby communities assisted fighting the fire. The fire became an event, as hundreds were on the beach taking photos and videos that were all over social media.
