FIRE DAMAGES HOME CHRISTMAS EVE IN SEA ISLE CITY

Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire in Sea Isle City on Christmas Eve morning.  Firefighters responded to a house fire near 92nd Street and Landis Avenue Friday morning and found the home totally involved in flames.  The Avalon Fire Department responded and served as backup to the fire call.  People inside the home were able to escape safely, and the fire was brought under control by early afternoon.  The cause of the fire is under investigated, there was minimal damage to the house next to the one that caught on fire.
