FIRE BREAKS OUT IN LOWER TOWNSHIP, SIX DISPLACED

A fire took place in Lower Township and six people were chased from a home. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the fire took place on Batts Land in the Cold Spring section of the township. Fire officials were called to the scene around 12:15 a.m. on Thursday. The report says the American Red Cross is assisting the family. The fire remains under investigation. Two cats died in the fire.
