
The third suspect in the September 18 carjacking/kidnapping and murder of Sunil Rattu, 28, of Old Bridge, was arrested Friday in Camden.
At approximately 4 p.m. this evening, authorities from the New York and New Jersey Federal Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force apprehended Raheem D. Simmons, 18, of Camden. Simmons was arrested at apartments located at South Eight Street in Camden. He is the third of three suspects arrested in this investigation this week.
Simmons has been turned over to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit. He is facing charges of felony murder, murder, carjacking, kidnapping, theft, robbery and weapons charges. A first appearance in court is expected to be announced on Monday.
