FERRY SHOWS BEST GROWTH SINCE 2005

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry has had a four-month growth period for the first time since 2005. Ridership is up since April, year-over-year, giving Ferry officials some reason for optimism. Coastal Broadcasting spoke to Public Information Officer Jim Salmon to said the ridership was at 137,700 for the last four months, and in total, there was about a 3600 increase year-to-year. The numbers were up every month, and April was the only month where the increase was not over 1000.
