FEMA OFFICIALS IN OCEAN CITY TO LOOK AT FLOOD DAMAGE

180px-FEMA_logo_svgThe Ocean City Office of Emergency Management announces that Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) representatives are in Cape May County for Ocean City residents who may have sustained flooding or other damage to their properties from the March 11th to the 13th nor’easter rain event.  Residents may be eligible for potential reimbursements due to the storm and are en couraged to register with FEMA.

FEMA representatives have set up a Disaster Recovery Center at the Cape May County Library Basement (Children’s Learning Center) located at 30 Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.  Hours of operation are 10am-6pm, Monday-Saturday until further notice.

Residents can register by either visiting the Disaster Recovery Center or by calling toll free 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 800-426-7585.  Or register online anytime at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
