FEDERAL MONEY COMING TO CAPE MAY COUNTY AIRPORTS

Two Cape May County airports got federal grants to help safety improvements and to increase capacity. Woodbine Municipal Airport was given $928,770 to construct additional airport capacity and increase access to the existing airfield facilities; meanwhile, the Cape May County Airport received $104,975 to improve the runway safety area. The announcement was made by U.S. Senators Frank Lautenberg and Robert Menendez.
