FEDERAL GRAND JURY CONVENED ON BRIDGEGATE

The investigation into Bridgegate just took another step. A federal grand jury heard testimony on Friday from Michael Drewniak, who is the spokesman for Gov. Chris Christie. ABC News was the first to report on the grand jury. Drewniak isn’t necessarily implicated, as his attorney said he wasn’t the target on the investigation. The U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman has convened the grand jury who will hear testimony over potentially the next 18 months before a decision has to be rendered, though one could come earlier.
