FATAL CRASH LEADS TO ARREST

The driver of the taxicab that fatally struck an Atlantic City woman has been charged and arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash.

Jean A. Sene, 53, of Atlantic City has been charged in connection with the death of 88-year-old Bu Do Jo, who was fatally struck by Mr. Sene’s taxicab on Saturday, December 3, on the 1300 block of Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City. After striking the victim, Mr. Sene allegedly fled the scene of the accident, and the victim was subsequently also struck by a jitney. Mr. Sene was initially issued Title 39 (traffic and motor vehicle) violations in addition to the criminal charge.

At approximately 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Pleasantville Police Officers arrested Mr. Sene without incident at a residence located on Pleasant Avenue in Pleasantville. Bail information is currently pending.
