FAMILY SAYS THEIR DAUGHTER’S DNA MATCHES SKELETAL REMAINS IN OCEAN CITY

A Philadelphia family says the skeletal remains found in Corson’s Inlet Park in August is their daughter. The family of Franchesca “Cheka” Alvarado say on a Facebook page that the state has confirm the DNA of the remains match that of their daughter, who went missing in March of 2012. State Police have yet to confirm officially that the two are a match. A memorial service is being planned.
