EXTENSION GRANTED IN WOODBINE CHAMBER CONTEST

Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky has announced that the Greater Woodbine Chamber of Commerce Scholarship application deadline has been extended to August 1.

This is a $500 scholarship to a 2010 graduate from the Woodbine area who is continuing their education after high school. Applicants must submit, along with their applications form, a copy of their high school transcript, a 500-word essay on “What Woodbine means to me”, a list of activities or involvement in the community, and any other information they deem relevant to the scholarship committee.

Details for applying and the application form can be found at the Chamber website www.wccnj.org. For any questions, call Chamber Secretary Carol Saduk at 861-2171.

“I encourage all interested 2010 graduates from Woodbine to apply as soon as possible for this generous scholarship opportunity,” urges Mayor Pikolycky. “I thank the Chamber for making this available, especially during these trying economic times.”
