EXPLOSION CA– USED BY EGGNOG FLAVORING IN NORTH JERSEY

The cause of a big explosion in North Jersey over the weekend?  A vat of egg nog flavoring.  It happened Saturday night in the community of Totowa when the eggnog flavoring exploded at a factory, injuring two employees.  The explosion occurred at the Pharmachem Laboratories plant.  The company makes ingredients that flavors food.  A brand new recipe for egg nog flavoring was being worked on when the blast happened.  Homes blocks away felt the force of the explosion.
