EMERGENCY MEETING CALLED TO DEAL WITH HALTED ROAD PROJECTS

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgLawmakers in Trenton will be meeting today at 10 a.m. in a special joint session to discuss the halted road projects throughout the state. Gov. Chris Christie ordered all projects halted after bonding was not done to fund transportation projects into next year. Democratic lawmakers are concered that Christie wants to take dollars designated for the tunnel project into New York and replenish the Transportation Trust Fund. Until an agreement is reached by both sides, all state funded road projects have been put on hold.
